Invitation to judge for 2026 Global Appathon

Hi everyone,
My name is Zareen, and I'm a PM at the App Inventor Foundation.
Every year, we host a block-coding competition called the Global Appathon, which is a free, virtual hackathon that encourages people around the world to build mobile apps for a cause. We'd like to invite all of you to participate in this year's Global Appathon as volunteer judges!
Here is an overview of the competition and judging process. Judging will take place virtually and asynchronously between April 17 - May 6, 2026 with an expected time commitment of 2-5 hours per judge. Individuals with significant prior App Inventor experience are invited to serve as Technical Judges, while those without technical backgrounds may serve as Community Judges. Sign up here to volunteer as a judge by April 3, 2026.
