For orders shipping by DHL express or UPS, you might also receive an email from DHL/UPS with your tracking number. Sometimes the emails get marked as spam so we recommend to check your spam/junk folder. If you have already checked your spam folder and couldn't find the emails, please contact support for your shipment details.
FAQ:
1. I tried the tracking number but the courier says it can't find my package. Was I given an incorrect tracking number?
- Sometimes the courier takes time to enter the tracking number into their database so it doesn't show up on their tracking page yet. Please try the page again in 1-2 days. If the tracking still doesn't work after 2 days, please contact support.
2. I already received DHL/UPS's email but my order's status is still "New." Why is that?
- J-List and DHL/UPS's system are not in sync so your order can be already shipped in DHL/UPS but it is not yet shipped on J-List, or vice-versa. If your order is still processing after 1-2 days since you've received the email, please contact support.
3. The tracking page seems to not update after several days. Is there something wrong?
- This is normal for USPS international shipping, it may take several days to a few weeks for the tracking page to update.
- If your package is returning to the Japan or US warehouse, that is normal. Returning packages are low priority.
J-List offers three shipping options: fast and speedy DHL shipping to most countries, fast and speedy (and less expensive), UPS shipping to the U.S. only, and affordable but not-so-fast EMS shipping. While DHL and UPS take only days to send packages to you, in the post-COVID world EMS is slower, taking up to a month to arrive in some countries, though only 1-2 weeks to Australia.
But sadly COVID-19 was more than even the mighty Japanese postal service could overcome, as all air travel ceased overnight. International mail is inexpensive because airlines sell space in their cargo holds to store it, and when those planes stopped flying, everything ground to a halt. The EMS shipping disruption to Australia was related to COVID cases in the country spiking at the time but also partly due to the difficulty of logistics of shipping the actual packages.
Paletweb: Smaller stock - some new releases unavailable from there, probably less reliable (lots of Engrish on their website), cheaper prices, some second-hand games available, bonus point system, choice of a cheaper shipping option.
correct me if i am wrong but there are export laws in japan. i have friends who run a japanese bgame company (i wont reveal the company brand but its not related to peapri/gc in any way) and when they wanted to mail me stuff they said they had to mail it on as a personal package and if they mail it as a company (the sender) they have to go through alot of process (paperwork i guess) for export (might actually be illegal otherwise but dont quote on that since it was some time ago when he explained the situation)

In January 1943 the Chief of Staff, U.S. Army, and Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Navy agreed that the formation of a joint committee to assess enemy Naval and merchant shipping losses during World War II would be desirable. Accordingly the JOINT ARMY-NAVY ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE was appointed for this purpose. This committee consisted of representatives of the Navy, the Army, and the Army Air Forces, with a joint Army-Navy secretariat. The pertinent paragraph of the joint Army-Navy directive forming the Committee is quoted:

The Automated Commercial Environment is the online web portal used to report data to the Automated Export System (AES) for exports leaving the United States, and also for customs filing for imports entering the United States.
The Automated Export System is used by the U.S. government to collect data on exports. This data is called Electronic Export Information (EEI), and in many cases, exporters are legally required to file the EEI through AES for each shipment. The U.S. Census Bureau uses this data to calculate trade statistics such as gross domestic product (GDP), while U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) uses it to make sure exporters are following U.S. export regulations. A system that stores and maintains records of business processes. With regards to exporting, companies are strongly encouraged to maintain an audit trail documenting their compliance screenings in order to demonstrate due diligence in case of an audit. Having an audit trail may protect your company from fines or penalties in the case of an export compliance violation.

The Central America Free Trade Agreemen-Dominican Republic (CAFTA-DR) is a free trade agreement between the United States and several countries, including the Dominican Republic, as well as the Central American nations Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The U.S. Senate approved the CAFTA-DR on June 30, 2005. The agreement includes a most favored nation (MFN) clause, which requires that service suppliers in one country may not be treated any less favorably than suppliers in other countries that are part of the agreement. It also includes provisions that protect companies in member countries from unfair investment practices, protect intellectual property rights and establish procedures for dispute resolution.
