New community forum

Friends of BLIS,

I know it's been a few months since you've last heard from BLIS developers. Aside from working towards our next version of BLIS, we've also been thinking of ways to help make our community more vibrant and engaging. Since August, we've been experimenting with a new forum in which BLIS users and developers can interact. The forum is private for now, but the experiment is going well enough that I'm comfortable expanding our audience to those who may only be loosely affiliated with our group (for example, those who mostly only keep tabs on us via one or both mailing lists).

If you would like to join us in our exciting new community space, please email me privately at *field* at *cs.utexas.edu* and let me know that you are interested. If you do not have frequent contact with any of us in the SHPC group here at UT-Austin, please include a short description of your application, how you stumbled upon BLIS, and/or what interests you most about our community, or anything else you'd like to share. It will help me get to know everyone better. :)

Once I send you an invitation link, you'll be able to join us. Note that some of the people on this mailing list are already members of this new forum; those individuals do not need to take any action.
