Until recently, Robert was having trouble replying to messages on the blis-devel mailing list. Whenever he would reply via his email client, the message would bounce with a message similar to the template at the end of this post. It was very odd, since he was a member of the group and received messages without any problem.
The purpose of this message is to inform others of what we think is the solution, in case anyone else is having the same problem. In essence, you need to add your alternate email address (the one you are trying to send from) to your Google account. To do so, just follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Google account.
2. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the page and click "Account" in the pop-down display.
3. Click "Edit" next to the "Email" section of the page.
4. Add the alternate email address to the field marked "Add a new email address" and then click "Save".
5. Wait for an email at the alternate address with a confirmation link.
6. When the confirmation email arrives, click the link enclosed. This will prompt you to log in to your Google account. Once you do this, the new address will be verified.
Hopefully this will be helpful to others.
