Totally blind and taking a photo of my kitten

Hi folks,

I am totally blind, and I have an iPod Touch 4TH Gen, and a Galaxy Nexus
Android phone. Sadly, no iPhones in my future. I hear they have that nice auto
focus feature.

Anyhow, I'd like to take pictures of my new kitten, Kate, while she is asleep
or just dozing. Any suggestions about how to do this for a totally blind
person? Which device would be the easiest to use, the iPod or the Nexus?
