Centering The Camera

Hello All. I assume that there is someone still here.

As the iPhone screen is facing me, I feel a circle on the top back right corner that I assume is the camera. Is this correct?
In order to center the camera on a subject, do I center this, or the device?

I thought the list was dead so had not been checking it. I don't know but I
