Good morning,
As we know, section 19 comes in response to Martin's concerns as he wrestled with the decision to mortgage his home and a portion of his farm. Even though he struggled, I have been impressed with what he was willing to sacrifice in these early days of the church. One thing that stands out to me is how understanding correct principles will help us make the right decisions. I love the quote by Elder Richard G. Scott as he teaches that “A true principle makes decisions clear even under the most confusing and compelling circumstances.” In this mini devotional, I discuss some of the principles that stood out to me. Please also share what principles from this section stand out to you.

‘there two things that stood out for me were that Mary Whipmer was shone the plates because she had a big family she was taking care of and having three other strangers moving in with them. The angel told her to hange in there a little bit longer that she was laboring for a very inportan services. Emma never did get to see the plates but she had faith. Just like it says in the new testament Thomas was told he was blessed because he was able to see Jesus when he was reserect but more are those who believe in me who have never seen me. Linda Reeder .
