Good morning,
This last Sunday , I had an interview with a come follow Me Live group. I enjoyed both Mark and Jason who did the interview. I am especially grateful for Celeste and her efforts to help me in this endeavor. Without her, I would not be doing these mini devotionals. Here is a link to that interview.

In reference to Doctrine and Covenants sections 12 and 13 as well as Joseph Smith History chapter 1 verses 66 through 75, I recognized how very personal the question about baptism must have been for Joseph. He had been searching for years and still did not have the full answer to this question. Not only was Joseph not yet baptized, but also his older brother who previously passed away had not been baptized.
It dawned on me that even though Joseph’s prayer in the sacred grove was answered, it took over nine years for Joseph to finally join Christ’s church through baptism which is one of the things he sought when he was 14 years old. It reminds me that often times our answers to prayers may come through an extended period of time and through a series of events. Here are some of the additional thoughts and principles that stood out to me. Please share your thoughts and comments on this topic.
Many thanks,
Adam
