Publishing images and their descriptions

Hi all,

I have over 300 images that I want to post on to the Internet. I have a blog
at wordPress http://techesoterica.wordpress.com. I will split the images
into different posts and will write about each set and then post that set.
How should I do this? Is there a way to upload multiple images on Wordpress
or do I need to use a dedicated picture sharing site and link to each set
from my blog?
