I am pleased to announce that Eye-Pal Reader and Eye-Pal Vision will
be available on February 1, 2012.
Both devices were developed to eventually replace SOLO and SOLO LV
respectively.

There are a number of significant improvements that were made to
improve the devices’ “look and feel”,
quality of OCR reading and, of course, the image quality while in
Magnification Mode.

The difference between Eye-Pal Reader and Eye-Pal Vision is analogous
to the
difference between SOLO and SOLO LV.

The new devices are as fast and accurate as the older SOLO and SOLO
LV, but significantly
better in reading and viewing fine print, pill bottles, cooking
recipes, etc. With improved image
quality, a user can now read thick books, view magnified family
pictures in real time and play
Crosswords or Sudoku.

I encourage you to make a card 1” by 4” with sample text written in
size 5 font, place it in the
middle of the Eye-Pal Reader or Eye-Pal Vision and check the quality
and accuracy of reading.

Below are some of the features that differentiate the new products
from the competition.

* · Ergonomic, easily foldable and light weight design

* · Advanced auto-focus, zoom-able 5 MP camera

* · Near instant scanning and reading

* · Automatic detection of print size to ensure accurate
OCR

* · Entire 8.5” by 11”page scanning without missing any
text lines

* · Button-free operation with hand gestures

* · Multiple page saving capability in Text, Image and MP3
formats

* · Nineteen Naturally-Sounding Languages

As a result of these products’ general availability, some changes have
been made
to the existing line of products as well as to their prices.
