Hi Christine,

Everything is going terribly.  We have planted loads of seeds and got nothing.  All seeds have reached about 1 inch and died off.

Norman.

Oh Norman, oh dear, that happened to me too, but thankfully I've had some huge successes with my letice, cauliflowers, marrigolds and some other things I've not yet transplanted, not sure which they are either, until I get some plastic I can braille on and stick them in the corner of my seed trays I have to wait for someone to tell me what things are as I have quite a large number of trays.  Tomorrow I'm going to seed more of what didn't grow well and see how they go, I know it's getting quite late in the season, but I must try!  I have mint, jeranium, carrots, two different varieties of tomatos, mixed colours of cleome, hibrid jeraniums (the second type of jeranium) and because of my bad luck this year, when I hoped I'd do better, I'm going to plant the butternut squash my daughter got off the net, I wasn't going to, but just for fun I wil and my friend has just given me a packet of Calendula seeds. So let's see how things turn out with this second batch and I'll post in on how the other stuff is doing in time.

Chat soon, xx Christine.
