Hi all, at ten o'clock tonight, I decided to go out into my greenhouse and check on my precious plants, see if they had enough water! lol Crazy me!

I was out for only about fifteen minutes, just enough to use up as much water from the water butt that I could reach with my watering can, then my little pot, so I worked hard scooping water for my drooping tomato plants, rhubarb and soon to be flowering plants!

I came charging in as I suddenly felt I was itching down my back.  Have you guess what happened to me?

Yes, I have been bitten, or more like "Eaten Alive"! I have huge bites which are the size of a ten pence piece and all swollen!  I have them on my back and down the tops of both my arms!  Oh ooo, I don't think I'll stay asleep for long tonight!  I couldn't find the calamine locion so I used an insect repellant which made Peter laugh! "You should have used that before you went out" he said, but really he didn't find it funny at all, he said, if he'd gone out for an hour he wouldn't have been bitten at all!  Well, he mustn't taste as good as I do! lol

Any idea what they will be?  Never seen such big bites, I'm wondering if the size of bite reflects the size of creature? Oh, that makes me shivver!

Anyway, signing off for the night now, see if I can catch some kip, before I have to rise and take out water before the sun rises, oh, my poor plants, they were so thirsty.  I always think it funny when you can stand in the greenhouse and "Hear" the plants drinking!

Night Night, sleep tight. from Christine W.
