點燈供佛，藉由點光明燈，點亮內在慈悲、智慧的心燈，讓心中的明燈光光相照。懇祈佛菩薩加被，孩子聰明乖巧，父母身體康泰，前途光明順遂。講堂之光明燈是將所登記的功德芳名, 收錄進「光明燈功德芳名」簿，置放在大殿內至年尾圓燈法會結束。
本寺「全年光明燈」及「全年消災祿位」截至登記日為:2023年9月30日。欲登記新的一年光明燈者，可從10月1日開始更新。在新的一年 (每年一月份)，將會更新「光明燈功德芳名」簿。登記「全年消災祿位」者, 包含一年三次的「大悲懺法會」懺主登記及結緣品 (*結緣品限大悲懺法會結束後七日內到講堂領取, 七日後未領取的結緣品將由佛堂處理)。

Lighting a lamp means to emit light to brighten the world. When everyone lights a lamp, the glow can illuminate the whole earth and shine on all beings. Using the universal illumination of the Buddha’s light, the Light Offering will fill the world with warmth, brightness, and harmony. At IBPS Dallas, all registered names will be printed and put together in the " Yearly Lamp Offering Registered Names" booklet, and places in main shrine till end of the year.
The temple is offering two type of lamp offering: 1) for individual 2) for family or business entity. Registration Deadline: 9/30/2023. For 2023 registration, the registration is open from October, 2022. All new names will be printed in Janaury and place in main shrine again.
In addition to year round lamp offering registration, the temple also offer to inscribe a patron’s name on a plaque in our temple’s Avalokitesvara shrine for the entire year. The registration also includes three times registration on the Great Compassionate Repentance Service throughout 2022 and a gift bag. (* The gift bag has to be claimed within seven days after the The Great Compassionate Repentance Service. After seven days, the content of the gift will be handled by temple).

農曆正月初九日，是天公的誕辰（一般所流傳），人們於此日要備辦豐富的牲禮祈福。 在佛教則以「禮拜供養三寶，請諸天吃齋」為其主要意義的法會，稱為「供佛齋天」，為開年後最重要的第一個法會。 佛教徒雖不歸依諸天，但禮敬諸天，這是因為諸天歸依佛，並奉行正法，護持正教，並且修諸善業，不做惡行。

2/17 晚上 7：30pm 開始， 請參加法會者 旁晚7：00抵達佛堂三樓排班。7:00~7:15pm 入席安排席位。

達拉斯講堂供佛齋天法會截止登記是這星期三。星期四開始， 講堂只接受現場隨喜消災，供齋和供花果登記；三寳，單寳，諸天席和侍從天席不再接受登記，以免影響文書工作。網上登記將在星期三子夜關閉。
凡登記供佛齋天三寳，單寳，諸天席者皆有結緣品領。領取者請法會結束后到法堂凴名單領取， 截止領取時間是當天下午五點。
登記諸席蘭花者，法會結束后請到法堂凴名單領取。
登記侍從天和隨喜消災者，可隨緣在法會結束后在客廳領取一份水果和糕點結緣品。不需凴名單領取。領完為止。
注意：
因爲大部份是糕點類和水果，屬不保留至隔天。請大家盡量在星期天下午五點前來領。不領者，所剩結緣品將與大衆結緣。
