                       2025佛光山達拉斯講堂浴佛法會

 

二五五○年前，春暖花開之際，奇葩爭妍、法水洗滌了娑婆世界的塵土，偉大的佛陀降誕在人間，從此人間有了光明！從此人間有了佛法！

四十九年的說法，何止影響三大阿僧祇劫！
三百餘會的談經，何止百千萬億眾生蒙福！

今年佛誕日為國曆5/5(一）(農历暦四月初八），恭逢佛陀聖誕紀念日，普天同慶，講堂特舉辦慶祝佛誕節浴佛法會 (5/4 日)，並於5/3-5/5設置浴佛池給公眾浴佛 (三樓大殿)。

 

浴佛時間：
星期六 早上9點到下午5點
星期日 下午1點到5點（早上法會+獻供+佛光寶寶祝福禮）
星期一 早上9點到下午3點

Buddha's Birthday - Dharma Service

On April 8, 2539 years ago, Queen Maya of Kapilavastu, India, gave birth to Prince Siddhartha under the asoka tree in Lumbini Park. He was to become the Buddha. After his birth, with one hand pointing to the heavens and the other to the earth, the prince exclaimed, “I am the supreme of all heaven and earth.” The meaning of which is, “In all of the universe, only realizing our own Buddha nature is the most noble and supreme.” Subsequently, the Four Heavenly Kings and nine dragons rained down fragrant water to bathe the young prince.

Hence, Buddhists conduct “Bathing the Baby’s Buddha Ceremony” and prepare a tonic with fragrant herbs and spices to bathe the Buddha for celebration of the Buddha’s birthday.

The Buddha's Birthday falls on 5/5 this year. IBPS Dallas will conduct a "Bathing the Buddha Ceremony" Celebration on the following dates:

 

5/3-5/5 (Sat - Fri)  9:00am ~ 5:00pm (Sat), 1:00pm ~ 5:00pm (Sun), 9:00am ~ 3:00pm (Mon)  "Bathing the Baby’s Buddha Ceremony" 

5/4 (Sun) 10:30am ~ 12:30pm Buddha's Birthday Dharma Service at 3rd floor of the temple
