☀️मैं मैं करता मर गया
मैं की खबर न पाई

जीने के लिए मौत थी भुली
ज़िन्दगी निकली हरजाई

किए इकट्ठे धन सम्पत्ति
साथ न चलिआ काई

बच्चे वीवी बहन भाई
संग गया बाप न माई

होश किया न सोचा समझा
बस यूँ ही उम्र गँवाई

गाए गीत जहान के
भगवान की न लीला गाई

“मस्त” कया रोष नसीब से
जो बीजा सो ही खाई।


died doing me and mine

did not know who I am

I forgot death to live

Life turned out to be a waste

I collected wealth and property

Nothing went with me

Children, wife, sister and brother

Neither father nor mother went with me

I did not think or understand

Just like this I wasted my life

Sang songs of the world

Did not sing the divine play of God

“Mast” what anger I have with fate

Whatever was seeded, I ate.
