जिसे जीत जीत कर हासिल करना चाहते हो 

वो हारकर मिलता है 

जिसे दौलत शोहरत से लुभाना चाहते हो 

वो सर वार कर मिलता है 

जिसे अक़्ल ओ सयानप से रिझाना चाहते हो 

वो तो दीवानों की क़तार में खटकर मिलता है 

जिसे जिस्म की रंगत से उकसाना चाहते हो 

“मस्त” वो सुध बुध बिगाड़ कर मिलता है 

What you want to get with ego and pride

That is obtained by killing yourself

What you want to achieve by winning

That is obtained by losing

What you want to lure with wealth and fame

That is obtained by sacrificing yourself 

The one whom you want to attain with your wisdom and intelligence

He is found by standing in the queue of lovers

The one whom you want to provoke with the beauty of your body

“ mast” that is found by losing one’s senses.
