April 1st

This years April 1st has mixed emotions this year. When I wrote that
post at 11 PM the previous night it was all in good fun, many of you
fell for it and now that I have time to go through everything I am in
a better mood. All was not good on that day, in fact for one family it
was devastating. My very close friend Angie lost her mother that day,
who had a heart attack in the afternoon. Ryan (NOYX) and I were at his
house re-configuring my two systems when he got a text message from
her stating "My mom is dead this is not a joke". We took off leaving
my computers at his house, went to the hospital where the family and
close friends were arriving, where we learned that her mother had
complained of chest pains earlier, when Angie had tried to call there
was no answer and she left work to go home where she found her mother.
Her brother was in the house at the time but sleeping and was not
aware of anything until Angie had woke him up, he is traumatized by
this and is under watch. Angie's mother was one of the nicest people I
have known, a very strong person both in will and family support, a
loving mother to two children and grandmother to Angie's daughter. I
personally wish her family the best during this painful time, she will
be sorely missed.
