So spread the word? If worse comes to worse I think we can scrounge up
a dev or two some where and save this.

hi all,
I'm surprised I haven't found any thread about this promising piece of
software on this forum yet. So I'll assume most of you don't know
about it or are not much interesting in this project, maybe because
it's in a really early stage now. Anyway let's introduce it here :
About RamenHD :
"Ramen is a node based video compositor being written by Esteban
Tovagliari. It's licensed under the GNU GPL. It works in full HDR
color precision. Ramen is being developed and tested on Linux (ubuntu
8.10) and Mac OSX. It is portable, so a windows version should not be
difficult to build."

Your Help is needed
A few days ago Esteban thougth about stopping Ramen's dev (pause it ?)
because it was such a huge amout of work since he turn his project to
open source. now he has to maintain 2 differents version (maybe 3 w/
windows) and he didn't get any help from developpers.
He tought this was because Ramen is kind of a niche that do not
interest anyone, IMO it's more because no one knows about it yet.
The decision made so far is to build a community around Ramen and
helping him building it.
So if you are a developer and interest in his project, please contact
him to offer your help, otherwise if you are not a programer but
willing to help you can propose your help by spreading the word and
building the community.
thank you very much
