In case someone misses this on Blender Nation.
Blender has a powerful way to collaborate with an external image editor. An additional bonus knowledge: I didn't know Krita has radial mirror painting feature.

Very nice! thanks Victor!

I haven't tried using Krita too! Is it any better if you have a WACOM tablet?

I don't think I am the only one that might say this, but it always feels better to have a WACOM tablet if you are painting, regardless of software. I've done it with Gimp, Mypaint, and Krita.

Another note is that since Krita 2.0, the Krita developer actually got David Revoy on board to help them with the tools and make improvements.  Brushes that David Revoy used often are also included.

I haven't used a tablet in linux, but what I wanted to ask was if Krita had better support for it than Gimp. I had an impression that Gimp's support for tablet needs to be improved (forgot where I got that idea from -- please correct me if i'm wrong).

I've implemented it in a studio of 25+ people using GIMP with WACOM tablet on Fedora Linux and no one complains about it.  As for Krita, since 2.0, David Revoy have been the key artists to work with Krita developer and he uses Linux Mint.  My clients seems to be quite happy about it and they are photoshop uses. I'd like to know what needs to be improve if you could still find the information.
