I will indeed be out of town next weekend, so won’t be at brunch.  You all are, of course, perfectly welcome to meet up without me, if someone else wants to organize.

I’ll be back for May 17th, so see you then.

I’m leaning toward M. Henry, though I think we would have to plan on an
earlier meet time (10am?) to avoid the worst of the brunch rush.

Other ideas -- and people please chime in, I don't claim to know every good
brunch place in town, and I'd like to keep a running list of locations at my
disposal for future brunches:

Orange on Roscoe
Kitch'n on Roscoe
Victory's Banner
Over Easy
Pannenkoeken Café
Hamburger Mary's
Heartland Café
Others?

Our "agenda items," such as they are: a steampunk photo shoot and a
potential steampunk convention. Anything else?

And Diane, I had a thought on the photo shoot -- we talked about an outdoor
shoot before, so how's about the Japanese garden in Hyde Park? Lovely
setting, it has waterfalls and a pond and a little wooden foot bridge, all
of which I think would fit well with a Victorian theme. Downside: no place
to change, so we'd be stuck with one outfit per model (though that might
actually be easier on the models).

--Kat, who is still tired and scatterbrained from the show (and after-party)
last night. :)

I'm game for May 17. As for places, the only one I really know well is
Hollywood Grill at North & Ashland...breakfast all day and fits in my
wallet. Always happy to try new places.

Steampunk photo shoot? For to make my heart go pitter-patter!
