First, the street performance in NYC that inspired it:

Then, the plan for Chicago at the Bean:
http://improveverywhere.ning.com/group/chicago/forum/topics/freeze-at-big-bean-new-thread
Location: Big Bean at Millenium
Park
Date: July 3rd cause it'll be busy and lots of tourists.
Time: Meet at 11:30 freeze at 1 PM.
Meet up place before freeze: At the center ring of the tennis courts across the
bridge over Columbus Dr. from Millenium park. Got to google maps for reference
or see attached photo.
Freeze length: 5 min.
Okay so the basic plan is that we meet at the tennis court at 11:30 synchronize
our watches/phones and set our phones to vibrate at 1. We then disperce and
filter into the bean area and when we feel our phone vibrate we freeze and when
we are done freezing we leave.
Okay so what is everyones imput?
We'll need 2 or more depending on turn out to film. A couple angles would be
good and act like tourists so they don't think your apart of us and maybe
interact with public a little, try to over hear their reactions. Then don't
forget to upload footage to youtube or some other site for us to see.
I would love to form a small group to go down there and join in together. It would also be cool if we could find a person or two to videotape the thing and then edit it together nicely as in the NYC vid.
Anyone? Buehler?
