The Jawan prevue showcased stunning visuals, lots of action, massive star cast, catchy dialogues and a bald Shah Rukh grooving to Beqarar Karke Humein during a Metro hijack scene. Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra will also be seen in pivotal roles.
The makers dropped Jawan prevue on Monday, June 10 months before the film comes out. Led by SRK the trailer like prevue also introduced the female lead and supporting characters of the film including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi along with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Astha Agarwal and others. The 2 minute long clip also gave a glimpse into Jawan's life and the plot of the film.
According to Google, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing the role of Rai Vardhan Thakur. While the prevue does not see anyone mention the name of SRK's character, it does leave a lot of hints about his storyline. Early on it reveals he was born in a women jail and grows up to become a respectable cop to possibly clear the image of his mother and their family.
Another shot hints that SRK's character also dies in the film as a celebrated hero. As reported by media outlets Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing the double role of father and son, and the prevue hints at his father being a cop while him playing the villain after being born and growing up in the jail.
While these are mere speculations from the prevue, the main trailer is yet to be released and may feature more of the younger version of SRK's character and confirm more plot points for the characters and the film.

If you are a die hard SRK fan, naturally you will love the prevue. And to be fair to SRK, Atlee, this prevue is certainly more appealing than the first teaser/title announcement. The high-octane action is for the masses, but there is an intrigue around the story/stories and the different shades to SRK in Jawan.
