Everyone who is able to should create image descriptions. A content creator is best able to communicate the message of their work through text, as they are the one who created it and thus understand its message the best. While of course it takes practice when starting out, over time image descriptions become second nature when posting visual content. Always check the notes of a tumblr post for an ID rather than reblogging without one.
I only resize my pictures because I take them at huge resolutions (upwards of 4k), and I resize them down to 1440p simply for file size and uploading bandwidth purposes (so my final pictures I upload to tumblr are around 1-7mb in size, as opposed to anywhere from 15-60+mb).
Do NOT repeatedly save your images as jpg. Jpg is a lossy format, which means each time you save it compresses the image in a way that a little bit of information is lost. The more times you save the same image, the more damage is done, and you will see compression artifacts start to appear. If you want to save as jpg for the smaller file size, leave it until you have your absolute final version of the image.
If you upload small pictures to tumblr, you lose out on all the benefits of being able to use the lightbox feature. This means you miss out on seeing a larger version of your picture or pictures, and lose so much of that gorgeous detail that you spent so long trying to capture.
I would walk to the library, and spend all day, from 10 am to 9 pm reading there!! I got special awards for how many books I read, I wrote little blurbs on why i loved the books (probably why I love to BETA and do ARCs)
Today I got reminded that for my BA degree in Linguistics I decided to use your Möbius Strip song as dedication/introduction. I made a change tho, from "grandfather" to "grandmother", as mine had just passed away and I was her caregiver. The footnote I added was on the line of "I have changed a word, but Mr Gaiman is very friendly towards his fan, so he would not mind" (and I hope you don't, actually, haha). And it is still fascinating to me how every day I go forward (if I really go "forward"...), still that song/poem holds true.
Thinspiration is content advocating extreme weight loss by means of images and/or text posts. While past content analyses have examined thinspiration content on social media and other websites, no research to date has examined thinspiration content on Tumblr. Over the course of a week, 222 images and text posts were collected after entering the keyword 'thinspiration' into the Tumblr search bar. These images were then rated on a variety of characteristics. The majority of thinspiration images included a thin woman adhering to culturally based beauty, often posing in a manner that accentuated her thinness or sexuality. The most common themes for thinspiration text posts included dieting/restraint, weight loss, food guilt, and body guilt. The thinspiration content on Tumblr appears to be consistent with that on other mediums. Future research should utilize experimental methods to examine the potential effects of consuming thinspiration content on Tumblr.

Before anyone says anything, yes, the shiny colors are barely noticeable, I have made many shiny pokemon before with very distinctive color differences from its regular forms, it was time I made one of those where the difference is barely noticeable, it was neccesary.

Hello Mr Mike! I saw in one your answers that you mentioned Before I Wake (which I loved) and I'm intrigued about your comments about the overall experience. What stuff would you have changed from the final product?
I'm not sure if it's intentional, are you aware images posted on your blog are full screen width? it takes a while to scroll them and you have to click on them in order to be able to see the full artwork (I have a really big monitor). Not that I don't like seeing your art up close though!
