Roy,
There are a few issues out here that will need to be dealt with before we’re able to start. The manager Nita Williams instructed me not to start any work on their property until we have contacted/scheduled with Houston Housing Authority first. She gave me the contact attached, I have left a message stating that Comcast would like to get this damage resolved as quickly as possible that was caused by their construction crew building an addition.
Also in the pictures attached, you will see a private home right next to the apartment complex, a ped is in their yard with a locked gate. I’ve left a door tag. I have not heard anything yet. We will need to get access to this yard for the locators and then for us to construct UG between these two properties, to the back and turn right to get continuity/repaired. Hopefully this homeowner does not object. I’m not sure if that is an actual easement. The map does not show this being the easement/trench line, or a splitter being at this location. There is no way to construct around the building the other way.
Once we get all parties on the same page, we will need private locates for this repair. Depending on what we find there may be some cut and restore and some additional dig ups needed. The total footage to repair both spans is 252 foot.
I will keep you updated if I hear anything back from Houston Housing Authority or homeowner. We have to schedule with both parties in order to get this resolved.
Thank you

COMCAST NOTE - Underground line cut by construction crew. There is an FDX LE right in front of the door to 1520 Gillette St, Apt 312. The .625 input cable to that LE was cut and I had to run a temp cable to get it connected. There is a temp cable which runs out from the output of the 14v tap at this LE to the end of line tap by the door of Apt 201. Both lines need to be re-routed from the site of the construction as a house will be built over the current path of both cables. The input cable to the LE runs from a DC8 in a pedestal by the side of Apt 301. Both cables to be re-routed will have to run along the fence line of the house being built otherwise the house will be built on the cables. We are replacing 2 cables. One from the DC8 to the input of the LE which is about 150ft long and the other cable to be replaced goes from the output of the 14v tap at the LE to the end of line tap by Apt 201. Please have all cables connected after they have been ran. Thank you
