Good afternoon Team,
Effective immediately: If you are issued a TXDOT work order,
no heavy machinery may be removed from the jobsite until an Aspen Supervisor or Manager gives explicit approval. This applies every time. Additionally,
no cones or signs may be removed until all heavy equipment is fully loaded and secured.
Traffic Control & Safety Requirements
-
Must have correct signage, including Road Work Ahead signs.
-
Must have the correct number of cones to fully cover and protect the work area.
-
Arrow boards must display
4 dots blinking or Two Diamonds only — no directional arrows indicating lane shifts.
-
TMA setup must match what is listed on the permit.
Construction & Site Conditions
-
No temporary conduit or fiber may be placed inside culverts.
-
No obstructions may be left in ditches.
-
Ruts must be flattened. If not, TXDOT will require you to return and
seed the entire work zone.
-
The jobsite must be left in better condition than when you arrived.
-
No trash may be left behind.
Conduct & Supervision
-
No arguing with TXDOT representatives.
-
A supervisor must be onsite at all times during TXDOT work.
Weather & Scheduling Restrictions
-
No lane closures during rain, even if the permit allows it.
-
No TXDOT work is allowed on federal holidays.
June 19th is a federal holiday and no TXDOT will be permitted. Please respond once you have read and understood.
Respectfully,
Alex Guzman
