Top portion of a chapter is being cut off suddenly

When I opened the app today, I found that the first heading in a given chapter is completely obscured and the first line of the chapter is mostly obscured (I can just barely see the bottoms of the letters). This has never happened before and I've been using this app for a few months now. Here is what I tried to solve the problem (without success):

-Force stopped the app

-Cleared the cache

-Cleared all app data

-Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

-Restarted my phone

-Deactivated the navigation bar

Has anybody experienced this issue before? Because its onset was so sudden and resetting the app didn't work, is it possible that this is a bug? Thank you.

Same issue, only I cant See the Old and New Testament options to pick where to go.

Must be a bug in new version.

I can confirm that I am experiencing this too. I found that a temporary fix is to swipe left or right to change between the Old and New Testament.
