Duplicated notes upon a restore

A most peculiar thing happens when a restore is done.  The notes duplicate themselves. These are exact duplications, sometimes three, sometimes six, sometimes groups of 3 or four notes are duplicated three or four times.

• Is there something I'm doing wrong while taking notes?
• 
  
• Is there some way to bulk delete these duplicate notes?
• 
  
• Hopefully the BLB Android app screenshots will display this peculiar thing?
