2Cor1
Commentary by Chuck Smith
A classic example comes to us from the Old Testament and that fellow Jacob, who received his name at his birth because of an incident that took place at his birth. He was the second of twins that were born, and when his mother Rachel was expecting these twins,

Jacobs mother was Rebecca not Rachel

Poor Rachel, these two brothers going at it against each other in the womb, wailing away. And when they were born, the first brother was born all covered with hair, and so they called him Harry -- Esau.

Again Rachel!!

There is a great difference between these two women.
Rebecca was a godly mother of Jacob but Jacob's wife,Rachel, took her father's idol and died when she gave birth to Benjamin.

My intention is for BLB to make amendments when there are mistakes. Not to be judgmental.

If someone made a mistake between your name and another person's name, how would you feel?
