more details » Diving Deep - Rethinking Psychedelics, Entheogenic Thelema, and the upcoming medical/psychological model of utilizing psychedelics to heal Do what thou wilt shall bet he whole of the Law. Frater Adrian invites an open discussion and Thelemic "think-tank" focused salon around the modern contextual exploration of non-ordinary states of consciousness, psychedelics, entheogens, and entactogens, and what the future might hold for us in society, and on a personal level, utilizing these avenues of expression and healing. A brief review of what is developing in the medical and psychological fields around the world utilizing these medicines will be presented, and a casual conversation of ways to integrate, and develop safe knowledge and understanding will be presented through mutual sharing with peers. This will be the first in a series of Thelemic Salons hosted by Frater Adrian surrounding current understanding and cultural developments around psychedelics. Developing and exploring ideas around how a Thelemic lifestyle and ritual works together, or not works, with the use of such medicine will be encouraged. This format will be less "lecture" and more collaboration and exploration with each other. Bring questions, bring answers, bring open minds and hearts. Future topics in this field or research will continue and be brought up as per the needs/desires of the collective, for future salons. Future topics may be co-facilitaed and may include: *Sex Magic, psychedelics, and you *psychology of entactogens - couples or solo work *psychedelics, privilege, and understandings of magic and in *Rituals, creativity, psychedelics, and the inner artist *Ritual use of sound, music, and audio concepts (Thelemic musicians) Legal Note: Just a standard caveat: These salons are in no way encouraging or endorsing use/work/explorations of illegal substances or practices that are outside of the laws of our society. It is for purely educational purposes that this open discussion is being brought forth to help bring to light new ideas and possible directions the future may or may not hold in regards to these substances.
