import "py3270" could not be resolved by Pylance

I am having the following error;
import "py3270" could not be resolved by Pylance
Python works fine, but py3270 does not. I have installed wc3270 which works.
I have also updated the environmental variables to reflect the destination of Python/wc3270 in the Path
C:\tools\bin\python3;
C:\Program Files\wc3270;
I have also installed six.
Any suggestions what this issue could be?
