Senior Data Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Contract

 

Required Skills:

• University Graduate with 9-10+ years of experience in data analysis/data initiatives
• Excellent domain knowledge in Insurance (Life and Annuities)
• Good exposure in working with Hadoop technologies (Hive, Impala)
• Experience in building data domains will be added advantage.
• Self-motivated and should be able to interact with different stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Detail oriented, able to analyze and identify discrepancies
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Review the raw requirements to understand the key outcomes expected by the client
• Identify data source and conduct data profiling to understand  data and its quality
• Create a logic that needs to be incorporated in the architecture to ensure the data meets the requirements

 

Senior Data Modeler

Location: Charlotte, NC

Contract

 

Required Skills:

• University Graduate with 9-10+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Must have experience in data modelling in Insurance domain. Must be familiar with ACORD model.
• Must have experience in building data models and/or domains in Hadoop data lake for other insurance clients.
• Determine database structural requirements by analyzing client process, applications, and programming, Reviewing objectives with clients, evaluating current systems.
• Analyze business data, profile the same and identify entities and relation - design and document the same
• Create tables and relationships between the tables; Map conceptual to the logical model to ensure the coverage
• Build Conceptual Data Model expressing entities to be related with other entities
• Identify the entities and their properties
• Facilitate sessions to determine data rules, and holds LDM Reviews with Data SMEs
• Define Standards
