Sr. ServiceNow ITSM Developer
Location: Denver, CO / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL (Remote till Covid)
Duration: Contract / Fulltime
Experience: 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, ServiceNow Discovery (knowledge) and 9-10 years working on a team as part of a large IT organization.
Job Description :
- Design and implement solutions for end to end Asset management lifecycle.
- Interact with the Asset Management system to ensure data quality of new or changed Asset records
- Ensure data integrity both from the ownership and discovery standpoints
- Use the common service data model concepts to maintain the data integrity between cmdb and asset as required.
- Analyze the different CI and data sources (with Discovery, procurement system etc) and establish process and solution for maintaining data integrity coming from multiple sources
- Monitor ITAM Metrics to determine efficiencies: take appropriate actions to modify.
- Work on finding root cause around asset data issues and propose solution for elimination of the same.
- Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
- Work with process owners to understand the process requirements related to the capture of configuration data and develop technical specifications and solutions
- Functional architects experience required.
- Work with Application SMEs and stakeholders to perform gap analysis and provide solution.
- Participate in Configuration Management meetings and Story Time where appropriate
- Review the data being populated into the CMDB and act as partial owner of the CMDB
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Qualifications required:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Asset Management.
- Minimum of 3+year experience with ServiceNow Discovery (will be a plus)
- Minimum of 7+ years working on a team as part of a large IT organization
- Have strong functional knowledge and technical skills.
- Experience integrating with tools to federate data into the CMDB
- Expert in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes (including hardware and software)
- Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation
- Expert in IT Asset Management process & operational delivery
- Familiarity with the following concepts: XML, JSON/script language, database.
- Ability to discuss credentials, install a product, troubleshoot permission issues, discuss and trouble shoot network connectivity with network engineers
