Senior Software Engineer

Location : Sunny Vale,CA

 

MUST HAVE : C, C++, Unix, VxWorks

Software Engineer to develop new features and support existing software functionality for control of Axcelis Ion Implanters used in the Semiconductor process. Keys to success will be flexibility to work on different subsystems and the ability to understand the equipment and how it is used by customers in a demanding manufacturing environment. 

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer will architect, design, and develop software for existing products and support existing software functionality in use by customers. This includes documentation, development and defining test procedures for the Software Quality department. Ability to support customers by both direct contact and through the Customer Support group. Specific Duties:

• Gather requirements from internal and external customers.
• Document software design to meet the requirements
• Communicate technical concepts to co-workers, customers, and management clearly and concisely.
• Estimate efforts in terms of time and resources required for architectural and development tasks.
• Refactoring existing code to meet requirements for flexibility, new features, and maintainability.
• Work closely with hardware engineers, process engineers and marketing in the creation of new software features.

Work closely with offshore developers for feature implementation and design reviews

Security Engineer

Extensive Experience on the below

Language : Any programing language, Python, Java , C++ ( MUST Have)

Good to Have with this skills: Python, Shell Scripting, RHEL 7.x, 8.x 

Security :  Proficient experience in CIS (Center for Internet Security) Standards,
Protocols : SSL, TLS
Tools : Nessus
Strong exposure on Handling the CVE (Common Vulnerability exposure)

The Candidate should have strong knowledge on performing Vulnerability Assessment using tools such as (Nessus)
The Candidate should be able to identify the CVE and provide explanation to the customers
The Candidate should have strong understanding of the on the open ports in the product and provide justification to the customers
