Lead Web Application Developer
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
· Build and enhance Ellipsis Health's flagship product, Rising Higher, on mobile and desktop browsers
· Play the role of a full-stack engineer and write some backend business logic as well
· Create unit tests and work with the QA team to ensure high quality
· Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Development, and Customer Success teams to incorporate new features in the app
· Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
· Participate in operating the service and meeting out SLA
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science from a reputable college
· 5+ years of experience working on commercial, consumer-facing web apps
· Expert knowledge of React/JS, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
· Experience with OAuth2, JWT, Rest APIs, SQL
· Excellent grasp of algorithms, data structures, and CS concepts such as asynchronous processing, multi-threading, queuing, pub-sub, etc.
· Experience working with large scale SaaS offerings
· Experience with public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure). GCP preferred.
Nice to Have
· Experience with Google Firebase
· Experience with backend technologies such as Google Firebase, NoSQL, Kafka, S3, ElasticSearch
· Experience with WebApp performance tuning
· Experience working in Healthcare
