Review
Software applications for potential security vulnerabilities by conducting application
security reviews i. e. Requirements review, Design review, Code Review.
• Perform code review across multiple programming languages.
• Use automated and manual code review techniques to identify application
security vulnerabilities.
• Be hands on with technology and to contribute to the design, development and
support of projects with the Security recommendations.
• Document vulnerabilities and work on vulnerability mitigation with agreed
SLA’s
• Experience in Security framework (Center for Internet Security (CIS), NIST
and other industry leading frameworks.)
• Experience in performing penetration testing using Metasploit
• Typical candidates will come from a consulting background in the area of
application security and will have experience using tools such as Veracode ,
Burp Suite Pro, IBM AppScan, WebInspect, Checkmarx.
• Mandatory to have experience replicating OWASP top 10 and OWASP top 9
application security vulnerabilities with or without tools
• Must be working on a different application which involves communication with
different stakeholders thus good communication skills are required.
