Agile Project/Program Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI

 

Here is the JD and key skill-sets :

• Lead groups of Product Driven Organization (PDO) teams during software delivery/migration of applications to the Transportation Mobility Cloud (TMC)
• Stay tightly integrated with assigned teams and actively work to remove impediments and blockers to software delivery teams.
• Identify risks/issues and implement mitigation and contingency plans; focusing on early mitigation or elimination of risks/issues.
• Assess the overall health of projects & prompt key decisions to move them forward
• Maintain program/project status reports, milestone charts and roadmaps
• Ensure applications and product(s) launch on time and with quality
• Provide written and verbal status reports for leadership levels
• Maintain plans, issues, risks program dashboards in Jira.
• Advance the use of Agile and Scaled Agile practices
• Experience with iterative application delivery and Agile development principles
• Knowledge and experience with Agile program management techniques and frameworks (Scaled agile, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc)
• Ability to guide and coordinate work for other team members and teams
• Ability to anticipate issues before they arise and take proactive corrective actions
• Experience creating effective project/product management documentation, including: status reports, issue/risk logs, PowerPoint presentations, specifications, use cases, system workflow diagrams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make data driven decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Meeting facilitation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality written deliverables
• Experience working independently as well as on a team
