Location: Plano, TX

Contract

 

Skillset: Teradata, Unix

 

JD:

• Experience of 6-12 years in Datawarehousing ETL development projects
• Expertise working as a Teradata developer and strong skills in SQL queries, Teradata Macros, stored procedures
• Knowledgeable about composing lengthy and intricate SQL queries & performance tuning
• Expert in building views macros tables joins functions stored procedures in Teradata database
• Very good knowledge of different indexes PI SI JI PPI Join Strategies Data Protection
• Practical experience utilizing tools to query such as Teradata SQL Assistant
• Extensive working experience in Teradata utilities viz TPUMP BTEQ FastExport FastLoad MultiLoad TPUMP
• Skillful with monitoring performance analysis and SQL query tuning using EXPLAIN PLAN Collect Statistics Teradata Viewpoint
• Very familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC Proficient in analyzing and translating business requirements to technical requirements and modeling the Logical and Physical Data Model
• Practical experience in Informatica Powercenter and performance tuning of the Workflows & Mappings
• Basic knowledge in Unix command and building scripts
• Excellent communication and client handling skills and ready to work in offshore-onsite model
