I'm on board--Let's do this. When is the next VanJS presentation? You're not thinking about preparing a Mojo talk for tomorrow are you? I'm assuming you mean the next VanJS meet up.
Based on the comments for tomorrow's VanJS meet-up, there's a lot of interest in 'advanced js' as opposed to 'mobile javascript' (which I was totally voting for)--this is a perfect opportunity to talk about the following:
1) How large and small development teams can benefit from
- implementation silos,
- aspect oriented programming,
- using a service locator,
- using templating,
- and publish/subscribe
2) How the Blast Mojo Framework can speed up the delivery process by
- fixing defects faster on top of Blast Mojo's architecture (predictable defects in commands, behaviors, rules)
- easily ramping up more developers that have already been indoctrinated in MVC frameworks, such as,
- avoiding spaghetti code -- put that chef hat down!
3) How we've benefited from using Blast Mojo on different projects (EA, Kiwi, RBA, Nintendo, Cox, etc)
4) How easy it is to start Mojo'ing!
- Attract developers that love writing heavyweight Javascript applications (RIAs)
One thing to note: our name conflicts with Palm's WebOS application framework "mojo". Its built version is even called "mojo.js".
Cheers,
Jaime
