Sound Diver PC version can run on 64 bit Mac OS using Wine app as a host. There's no need to run Parallels or any other virtual PC. Wine simply converts Sound Diver PC into a Mac app and best of all, it communicates using you Mac AudioMidi Setup, including all of your multichannel midi ports from interfaces.
I'm guessing you do not need the little emagic dongle with the windows version then, or has it been bypassed in some way? as i see reference to an authoriser. I'd kinda want to know what that is before allowing on my system.
The Authorizer you run basically takes the place of the CD-Rom. It's my understanding that it will periodically time out, every 30 days and you run it again. I think this is all legit and it's great having my Virus C back up with full access to everything. I never could program it on the hardware but I'm a mousing whiz in Sound Diver, plus the Librarian features are great for backing up and finding new sounds.
