One thing on my mind is that google has not included malawi on the list of countries, when you are trying to publish apps on google play. Emailed a number of their consultants nothing is come out of it yet.

Why do we have to use another countries  profile. This needs to be taken up in google.

it is unfortunate that we did not meet, and at the same time fortunate that we still need to meet

But the issue now is that how best can we come together and map the way forward

Which is the best time , day and venue  or how best came we call/organize such a meeting

i was at shoprite (the said venue) at 17:32 hrs and left the place at 18:15 hrs 

i hardly saw anyone showing up for the Blantyre GTUG meetup

While I am not in Blantyre I want to chip in based on my experience. The problem is not time, the problem is commitment!! Time, venue, what you wear, what kind of entrance you make, etc. is of little significance. Sort out commitment, everything else works!!

Thanks for the emails guys. after all this has been said, whats the way forward?

We might find ourselves just talking but nothing being done. 

I think when we have such meetups, we should find someone to man it, all people should confirm to him/her on their presence.

As the say goes, when everybody thinks that somebody will do something, nobody does anything.

My comment is on time. I grew up with advise to always be home before sunset. It stuck in my head I can't change easily even now that I am old.

I am sure if I have a wife at home such is her happiness I am always home at good time. For it is not always happiness to a wife that the husband is home let.

So there is always reasonable commitment. When people especially in leadership are not flexible to criticism, sometimes they end thinking everything is ok even when its not.

So time and commitment. People do weigh what commit to first. And the cost benefit analysis.
