Hello, The GDG Barcamp Ivory Coast of Africa Android Challenge ended this weekend. The
purpose of this challenge: make many Android applications created by
Africans and for Africans because unfortunately, many of those we
download every day are made by developers of other continents.
The winner of the contest Africa Android Challenge (AAC) Côte d'Ivoire in 2013 is named Ismael Toé. This
is what young developer was named the winner by the jury Saturday,
April 27, 2013 from 9 am to17pm in Acoustic in Abidjan when Google Groups Developpers Barcamp (GDGs
Barcamp). Ismael Toé had the favor of the jury with its application
called Suna.
Suna is an application that allows you to find information about a product (price, point of sale ...). And
from any place you can get an idea of the price of a gadget, a meal
or any other product, shops where you can purchase, and contact seller.
Ismael Toé will compete for the first place of the African Africa Android Challenge 2013 competition. At the continental final, there will be in front of him, 18 other local winners from 18 countries in Africa. Once
again the GDG Abidjan is illustrated in a very beautiful way by one of
its members as Ismael Toé is responsible for cell App Engine within the
community. The
entire GDG Abidjan reiterated his congratulations for this distinction
after the second raised last year in the final of Google Apps Challenge
2012 where he received a Laptop Android as a reward.
For the final Côte d'Ivoire, talented developers presented their work. So we compete:
Jean-Luc Houédanou with his "AMN CoworkingSpace" application, Flindé Regis Bamba with the "Ivorian Laws" application Mamadou Diabate Djemory with "MADTECH" Dibi Bi Kavola Augustine with "Ecclesiastes" Goualy Cyrille Guipie with 8 applications including "Love Match" or Noko (Noko Puzzle) Vrad Wilfried Assoma with "Math Utilitaries" Alain Pierre Abrédan who submitted three applications including "Tips" and "Bus Station" Wely Arnold Kouya with "DoctorDroid" Melvin Yläne Gbobouo with "RestoGuide" Romuald Abel Wheat with "Fun In The Box" and Emmanuel Eliason with Kouamé Joel Armstrong Arnaud DEHOULE who submitted the application "AbidjanMap."
Note that the official sponsors of the Africa Challenge competition is Google Android and ALCATEL ONE TOUCH. At the Ivory Coast there were as local sponsors, Epistrophe, Pdastore and Orange Côte d'Ivoire. We thank all those who participated in this event.
The finals of Africa Android Challenge 2013 will take place online and the results will be announced May 11, 2013
Sincerely, --
