I had an old windows 7 computer that the motherboard died. I was using windows live mail. The hard drive is fine and I was able to copy the eml files from that old drive to the newly purchased Windows 11 computer. Recently, Microsoft updated the mail application to Outlook for windows. I have been trying to figure out how to "import" the eml files (possibly with their folder structure) to the new Outlook for windows. I have failed so far.
How do I import these eml messages into the Outlook for windows ? Please don't say drag them from file explorer and drop on Outlook for windows, as all that does is open the eml in another window, but does not import it.

Based on my search, Windows Live Mail defaults to ELM-formatted files, not PST, so it can't be imported directly into Outlook. (More information, see: Where are the Windows LIve Mail files saved? - Microsoft Community).

my boss is having this issue with getting mass emails what can we do about theses emails i cant setup rules for thes emails just for the shear volume that we are getting and each one has it own email they may be one or two the same but most of them are diffrent emails. i had about 6 months ago when thought his emails to delete all of the spam he got. he had over 2k of emails that where all just spam. and now we are getting them again.
we have the anti-spam setup allready on there site but its still letting them thought. i dont like that way they have it setup on 1an1 space and they dont have the abilty to use BRL fuilter witch would be nice to use. is there away to use that with windows live mail witch is what my boss is use. and yes hes is the only one that is having this issue.
