Simmons College Boston Scholarship

As an institution deeply committed to the city of Boston, Simmons College strives to provide opportunities for local high school students to achieve success at the college level and beyond. As part of this initiative, Simmons College awards five to ten full-tuition scholarships to graduates of Boston public high schools who have shown outstanding academic achievement.

Eligibility for scholarship
  • Students must:
  • Attend a Boston Public High School
  • Have at least 3.0 cumulative GPA (recalculated)
  • Have at least a 1500 SAT (all three sections) or 21 ACT or 237/92 TOEFL
  • Have demonstrated creativity, diversity, engagement, global perspective, leadership, resiliency, or other qualities indicative of the ability to contribute to Simmons's diverse community.
  • Complete the FAFSA by February 15

Deadlines
A separate application is not required; however instead students should admission application by the Early Action deadline of December 1 to ensure consideration for the scholarship.

Students may apply through Common Application, the Universal application, or on www.simmons.edu/apply.
