The MIT Leadership Training Institute

The Leadership Training Institute is a mentoring program founded and run by undergraduate students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

It runs during the spring semester, the program focuses on teaching high school students the fundamentals of leadership and supplying them with the tools to make a difference in their own community.


Former students also have the opportunity to become mentors themselves for younger students during the following summer at MIT's High School Studies Program (HSSP).

If accepted, all students are awarded a full scholarship for the weekly 12-session program (February 2012 to May 2012).


The program will take place
on MIT campus.
