This secret does not work because it writes the preference to the
user's main 'com.apple.Preview.plist', which is not read by
Preview.app because it lives in its own container environment. The
correct command to achieve the desired effect is as follows:
defaults write ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Preview/Data/Library/
Preferences/com.apple.Preview NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -int 0
