invisible / transparent Dock

I NEED this dock apperance. Anyone any idee how its working?
would be great to reproduce this bug.

Go to /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/Contents/Resources/, find the images for the Dock background and replace with a clear one.

hmm... there is no picture coresponding to the dock-background...
only one for the dashboard background :/
