Hi there,

I work for an IT department that is in the beginning stages of rolling
out iOS devices to much of the company. We don't want people backing
up these devices at their desk computers, nor do we want them syncing
personal information to them. We use a system called Casper to manage
the devices and keep them updated with the apps and data that we want
them to have.

What we really want to do is tell iTunes to ignore any devices that
are plugged in. We don't want to remove iTunes entirely since we do
allow people to listen to music on their computers, we just don't want
that stuff on these static devices. Obviously, we could (and have)
disabled automatic syncing, but that doesn't stop the users from
syncing the devices manually.

So far we haven't had any success with manipulating various .plist
files. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.
