Calculator does not perform modulu ('%') math

I am using QuickSilver 1.6.1 (4026) with Calculator plugin 2.2.4 configured to use the bc shell command.

When I attempt to perform modulo arithemetic, it always returns zero:

The bc calculator command works correctly, and, in fact, returns the correct value when run via QuickSilver with "Run Command in Shell":

I don't know if this is a configuration issue (there's not much to configure, actually) or something else I can try to fix it.
