Hey,

i am running Quicksilver on Snow Leopard for about 1.5 years now.
Today i was fiddeling around with some Triggers on the newest version
of quicksilver.

After some time quicksilver started to crash, and after that it never
opened up again.

When i now boot it, it opens, and right after that it closes the
process again.
No Crash log is written and a barely can notice that the process is
killed.

Good thing is, that i now know how desperately i need this tool and
how addicted i am to it...

Maybe you can help me out?

Kind regards, decoye.

Do you have the AirPort plug-in installed? It’s known to cause an instant crash under 10.6. Remove it and you should be fine.

(I’ve rewritten that plug-in for 10.6, but it hasn’t gotten through the review process yet.)

In a Finder window, go to `~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/PlugIns`. Drag `AirPort Module.qsplugin` to the Trash.

~ is your home directory.

Hey,

there is no quicksilver folder under libary.

i once thought this would be my problem...

hmm, think it is harder than just the plugin... :(

Not in ~/Library, no, but if you look in ~/Library/Application Support/, it should be there.

Also, make sure you’re looking in ~/Library (a.k.a. /Users/yourname/Library) and not /Library (in the root of the hard drive).
