Bezel vs BezelHud

Hello, I am relatively new to quicksilver and looking at the default
bezel and the bezelhud I can't see much of a difference. If anyone
could tell me the differences and the benefits of one over the other
(if any) that would be great.

I think the main point of preference is just overall color scheme.  You can pretty awesomely customize every color you see, but I do think the bezelHUD presents a cleaner, more professional front to work with.  Square boxes Vs. rounded boxes, mainly.

Then again, I'm a die-hard menu user, so take that with a grain of salt.

BezelHUD can be dragged around the screen, Bezel can't. Bezel can
display the time and date with the Tatau Module, BezelHUD can't.

The most critical difference for me is that text entry mode in Bezel
HUD gives you much more room.

One thing I don't like about BezelHUD compared to standard Bezel is
when you want to email a recent address or email someone at all, Bezel
shows both the alias/name of the person as well as the actual email
address right below. However, BezelHUD just shows the alias/name. This
is a problem if someone has multiple email addresses and you want to
email a particular one. Their aliases all look similar, but the
specific email addresses would differ and you would only be able to
recognize that in Bezel.

Otherwise, I would use BezelHUD.

Looking closer, BezelHUD does show the e-mail address at the bottom of the interface as you scroll over something (but not in the results list). This might be a recent addition. Are you on 1.3?

Anyway, I think that’s good enough for me. If you want it in the results list too, let Ben know.

You're right, it does show the email address at the bottom of the
interface if you highlight i! But it doesn't look like it does that
when I have text entered in the first pane, and then I have the email
destination entered in the third pane.

Having it show up in the bottom of the interface is good enough for
me, if it did it for the third pane as well. Because I more often have
text in the first pane and email it a particular recipient. (I am on
1.3 by the way).

I saw that but I couldn’t tell if it was about the interface or the results list.

The BezelHUD interface does not show the file/folder path in the third
pane either when using something like a 'move to' action... can that
be addressed somehow?

BezelHUD: 

for those who needed to see the exact email address in the third panel , you can press "." as if you are editing the email address to see it. but u cannot really go back to choose another email address if its wrong. you can reselect the person and choose again. (kinda sucks)

What you can do is use the ⌘[ key to go 'back' in history to the original contact. From there you can → back into the contact and select a different email address.

You're right though, BezelHUD should really display the details of an object in the results view. Could you create an issue at https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/issues
